The English Indoor Bowling Association is
saddened to announce the passing of it’s Director Mike Birch,
yesterday. Mike who became a Director of the EIBA in May 2018 will be missed greatly by his family and the sport of flat green bowls in England, especially Torquay and Devon. As well as being a Director of the EIBA, Mike was also secretary of Torquay United Indoor Bowls Club and a Trustee of Disability Bowls England. He had also served as President of Devon Indoor and Outdoor County Associations. No funeral details are available at this time, but we extend our condolences to his wife, Katrina, family and friends.
