Bowls is Bowls announced as sponsor of EIBA Skills
Awards
The EIBA are pleased to announce that
Northamptonshire based Bowls is Bowls will be sponsor of its Bowls
Skills Awards.
Bowls is Bowls is an organisation that has
been created to encourage all Bowls Associations, Clubs and Bowlers
to work together to promote the whole sport of Bowls to increase
participation and membership of clubs.
The Skills awards have
been developed to test and develop young and new bowlers across
England. The Bronze and Silver Awards are conducted within the Clubs
whilst the Gold award will be conducted at specific venues, based
upon the level of participants.
Speaking about the
sponsorship being provided by Bowls is Bowls, Peter Thompson, Chief
Executive, of the EIBA Ltd. Stated, “We (The EIBA) are delighted
that Bowls is Bowls are supporting our National Skills Awards. With
the children and new bowlers using them as part of their development
they will not only gain the appropriate skills of the game but also
give them a nationally recognised award which they can be extremely
proud of.”
Mark Courtney, Chief Executive of Bouls Trader,
which formed Bowls is Bowls, added, “It is fantastic to be involved
with the EIBA and by providing this sponsorship support we are
helping them to provide both younger and new bowlers with access to
skills and knowledge appropriate to their development as Indoor
Bowlers. This agreement follows our support of the Open Singles
Circuit and Short Mat Players Tour.”
