The responses to the survey will help provide valuable
insight into the current state of clubs, volunteers and coaches that is
needed to inform future funding and wider decisions made by Sport England
and National Governing Bodies. The Alliance and Sport England will work
together to review the results of the survey and seek to address the
challenges highlighted by the data.
A sport or recreational club is
defined as a group of people who get together regularly to take part in a
physical or recreational activity.
The survey will take approximately
20 minutes to complete. Respondents will have the option of saving their
progress as they go along and to return to the survey at a later date. In
order to complete the section about club finances (section E of the
questionnaire), it is recommended that respondents have information about
their finances to hand.
