A cheque presentation from the Plymouth Life Centre indoor bowls club to Plymouth Highbury Trust.

The cheque for £2064.15 was raised with a Fun Day at the Bowls club. There was a silent auction, raffles, refreshments and a bowls competition

The photo shows Ken Spear, Club President presenting the cheque to Highbury Trust General Manager Martin Newman.

Martin thanked the club members and said "some of the money will be used to buy short mat bowling equipment so that our learning disabled service users can enjoy bowling in our Community Hall" He also thanked Ken and the club members for their generosity and for supporting Highbury Trust. The remaining money will go towards the external refurbishment of Highbury House.
