The Bowls Development Alliance (BDA) is a newly formed

sport of bowls through the clubs, counties and coaches in England. In
particular, the BDA aims to increase the profile of the sport by
increasing participation and satisfaction levels of those playing the
sport.
Bowls is a popular sport with low barriers to entry and
opportunities to participate throughout the year. It is a sport that
people of all ages and abilities can actively enjoy recreationally all
the way to elite competition. There are currently over 400,000 club
members in over 7,500 venues.
The BDA is seeking an enthusiastic,
motivated and highly organised individual to lead on the strategy for
the development of bowls. This is an exciting opportunity with
significant potential for the role to develop as the organisation
matures. The Development Manager will manage the day to day running of
the BDA reporting to the Chairman of the Board.
Applicants will
be expected to have proven experience of sports development and will
need to demonstrate a good understanding of the sporting landscape
