The damage was done on day one of the men's series, with England
crushing the Irish by 52 shots and consolidating this with a win over
Scotland, winning by 20 shots, with Jamie Walker's rink being the
biggest winners, 23-10.
A win against Wales was not a necessity
for England to win the series because of shot difference, but they
managed to get over the line by one shot, 71-70, to make winning the
series sweeter, with Sam Tolchard's rink being the highest winners at
20-12.
