New BDA Hot Spot Areas Announced!
The Bowls Development Alliance [BDA] are delighted to announce that the
following County Sport Partnerships have been appointed as Hot Spot Areas
with effect of 1st January, 2015:
Appointed for an initial 12 month period, affiliated clubs within these
areas will be able to enjoy the financial and non-financial support benefits
associated with becoming a Hot Spot. Each Hot Spot will be hosting at least
one Club Night in January to which all clubs within the region are invited
to attend to find out more about the project, for more details please
contact the relevant Lead Officer listed above.
For those clubs
currently in one of the 2013-2015 BDA Hot Spots, namely;
The BDA are continuing to support clubs and other organisations within these areas despite the formal Hot Spot agreement coming to an end in March
2015, albeit through a slightly different structure. To find out more regarding the structure of financial and non-financial support from April
2015 onwards, the BDA in partnership with the County Sport Partnerships have arranged club evenings throughout January and February. For information
about the event in your area, please contact the relevant Lead Officer listed above.
(Clubs within the Sport Nottinghamshire Hot Spot are
unaffected as the formal Hot Spot agreement in this area remains active until March 2016.)
