Coaching Bowls Level 2 Qualification

First in the Country!

The Bowls Development Alliance, Bowls England and the English Indoor Bowling Association Ltd is delighted to congratulate the first eight coaches in the country to be successfully awarded the new nationally recognised “Coach Bowls” Level 2 Qualification.

These coaches are leading the way and will be followed by many more who are awaiting their final assessments in September.

The “Coach Bowls” Level 1 Qualification will be launched in September and coaches that successfully complete the qualification will be in a position to deliver the Play Bowls 4FUN course which is aimed at people new to the sport who are keen to learn the basics.

This will be a big step forward for the sport as we work to encourage more people to take up bowls as a regular weekly activity.
