Coaching moves a step closerA meeting was held on Tuesday 26th March 2013 at the Bowls England headquarters in Royal Leamington Spa with representatives from BE County Associations, EIBA Clubs, the BDA Coaching Steering Group and County Co-ordinators group, BDA Board members and staff and one observer from the EBCS.In total there were in excess of thirty people who all took part in an open discussion about the way forward for coaching. It was agreed by all those present that one registration scheme was needed and that an agreement should be reached between all parties by September 2013 if possible but no later than April 2014. It was proposed and seconded that a meeting be held between the BDA and EBCS committee members within the next four weeks to begin negotiations. The BDA agreed to provide dates to the EBCS in the next few days. |
