Ladies U25 International Team retained the “Acle Trophy” - 16.1.12
After a weekend of good bowls and great team work, the many spectators
were treated to a high standard of play from all the countries and the
local support delighted with the the England performance. The attitude
and composure of the England Team was first class, a credit to the EIBA
and the envy of many bowlers and spectators at the stadium”.

U25 MEN'S INTERNATIONAL SERIES - 13.1.12
The English
Indoor Bowling Association is keen to point out, contrary to comments on
a website forum, that during the recent U25 Men's International Series
at Nottingham it's players and officials acted at all stages in a
professional manner and under the guidance of the British Isles
tournament officials. In addition it can confirm that none of the
Team Management were involved in any BIIBC decisions relating to the
tournament. |

CLUB DEVELOPERS NEW PROGRAMME LAUNCHED - 5.01.12
Derbyshire Sport, on behalf of Derbyshire County Council is looking to
invest funding to support the development of clubs within the boundaries
of Derbyshire County Council. This support will be provided through
individuals who will be known as ‘Club Developers’ and who will work
with selected clubs on a one-to-one basis for a short period of time.
Deadline for applicants is 22nd January 2012.
